As an 18 year professional in the field of Community Education, I was pleased to see the new online graduate classes and certificate program being offered by the University of Wisconsin - River Falls. Being able to pursue advanced studies, network with other professionals on a national level, expand my understanding of Community Education, and utilize today's technology in an exciting and interesting learning format, is a tremendous opportunity and educational resource.

My participation in the Introduction to Community Education class has been an interesting and valuable learning experience thus far. I am thoroughly enjoying the reading materials and the program and web resources provided. The introduction course not only provides an important framework on the philosophy, process and programs of Community Education, but offers even a veteran practitioner a refresher on the important principles and components for effective program implementation.
